The Anglia as well, but I'm more interested in the Dolomite, shame, some of the older cars there seem pretty far gone, they'd need a lot of time, money, and hard work to bring them back to scratch, wouldn't they?

Tell me the location of this place you call "Breakers". I think i've found the holy grail. I thought places like that didnt exist anymore. Every breakers you go to round here your lucky to get further than the front counter and all the cars are normally less than ten years old.

There's plenty more there, but most are too far gone to be worth saving, unless you were a real enthusiast! Its called Kirbys, in Rochford, near Southend Essex......init! Was looking at funky steering wheels and dashs in Citroens there today, proper futuristic looking stuff, single spoke steering wheels, tumbler type switch units etc....

That was nightmares fitting kit, I wanted it but i couldnt afford it at the time. I have been known to go down the dick (oo-errr) sometimes but I have trouble finding people to go with, most of my mates are not really petrol heads.

Its the ideal place to go browsing for bits when you don't really know what you want, I was looking at an intercooler fitted to a Citroen diesel yesterday, one of them bits that they'd probably charge about £10 for., and to get anything made like that would cost hundreds, all I need now is something to fit it to.

Any time you fancy a trip down there in the Summer give me a shout, all my mates (except CR500Dom from this forum) are into bikes only. Infact if you fancy any of the retro rides meets at any time let me know.

Oh, not many of scrappies here look like that, my local one is a real pigsty! The guy running it is alright though, he keeps a lot of bits for older cars aside in a big barn, rather than keeping them in the yard with a lot of his more modern stuf, which is nice but it's impossible to find stuff when the yard is busy! ;D ;D

Some cool stuff there! Most of the decent retro-type scrapyards near me are gone now. Gone are the days of skiving off college to go sit in the back of a Mk10 Jag perched on top of a fiesta, breathing in the leather (and mold!)... I miss it...
