Was this the Ulitimate Retro Alfa ? The modified Giocattolo - know as THE JUDGE 1000bhp Twin turbo Holdon Walkinshaw 5.7 V8 with twin water/air intercooling system & a ZF 5 Speed Transaxle (same as a De Tomaso Pantera) and light weight chassis, Kevlar body panels, full race suspension and Brembo magnesium race brakes unfortunatly the guy who built this, died racing it in Oz some years ago, when at the end of his 1/4 mile pass, the car failed to brake at approx 175mph, hit a solid concrete wall at the end of the straight. see hear for more; www.twinturbov8.com/index.html

Very Fast,.. but this is the best modified Alfa I've seen, so far! (not able to find a huge amount of them),.. Needs to be slightly better at the front, but very nice. Dunno engine and running gear though,..

175mph in to a concrete wall - now that's gotta hurt

I like long walks, especially when they're taken by people I don't like.

very "euro" look that sprint, slammed on the floor with little wheels. with some neat touches, like the lack of door handles & wiper.
Maybe he should have made up a differnet grill panel, to replace the black plastic one with something body coloured.

Maybe he should have made up a differnet grill panel, to replace the black plastic one with something body coloured. I think the bottom bit of the grill needs to be modified so that it'll cover the holes in the front valance,.. Also needs the Alfa badge back on it ,..

Don't think it's the same car.
IF YOU READ THE HISTORY ON THE LINK YOU POSTED, IT SAYS THERE WERE 15 CARS PRODUCED WITH THIS BODYWORK.
(SORRY ABOUT THE CAPITALS, I THINK THE BUTTON IS STUCK!)

NickB, I think your right, its a different yellow. the 1st one was the heavily modded one. the standard Giocattolo's had about 400bhp

And this is my Ultimate Alfa. In fact its my ultimate car! I used to own a 1967 Alfa Romeo Duetto spider, It was a great car nice little alloy twin cam, four wheel disc brakes and 5-speed box. trouble was it was so expensive I daren't use it in anger so I sold it
