Gotta be the beige chevy caprice in "To live and die in LA" great 80's cops n robbers film with a ten minute long car chase with american boxes driftin all over the shop! couldnt find the chase sequence but heres the trailer!

Oh yes! There is (was?) a '58 Impala somewhere in the London region that never went to any of the rod shows as far as I know. It was red with I think gold scallops. I have maybe one photo of it outside a Rockabilly club in the mid 90's. In fact that might be the only time I saw it. It made such a lasting impression 'cos as he sped away across the nearby junction he left behind a shower of sparks. I guess the term these days is hard-slam
