Is it just me that thinks that bit of plastic in Markbognors boot looked like a used condom at first glance? 
Left my keys in my capri a few months ago too after dropping a packet of polos which led to me searching for them before i got out the car which made me forget to collect my keys. Tried other old ford keys with no luck and so with some friendly advice i learnt how to catch the lock mechanism inside the door with a coathanger.
