Not been on RR for a while, because basically life has been very poo indeed.
But things have settled down a lot, and reaching the grand old age of 55 I can cash in some of my pension pot tax-free. My intention with that has always been to pay off my daily, and have a classic or retro for 'high days and holidays'.
I've been browsing most days but nothing has really grabbed me, until I saw this and instantly loved it.
As per the title, it's a 1957 Morris Oxford Series III, 1500cc B-series with a four-speed manual column change. I viewed it today and put a deposit down; it should be arriving next week.
I'm not intending to change much, I love it just as it is.
