And our trip on the Waverley (steam powered paddleboat) this weekend is cancelled as it got damaged Thats a shame, PS WAVERLEY is well worth a visit, the last fully operational seagoing paddle steamer in the world! Your post reminded me that one of my friends (he's the last Chief Engineer I worked with offshore) is a part time volunteer on the WAVERLEY, he sent me some video and pictures he took earlier this year, perhaps they will keep you going until you get your trip on it. Look at the date on the crankshaft Having trouble with the videos, I'll add them once I sort it out

Just had a quick look at the site, can do a London based trip from Gravesend which is blooming tempting. Shall be added to the next year list methinks 😎

Strangely coincidentally I was talking to my brother a couple of days ago and he has a trip booked on the Waverley this month.

Sadly not as I am on a very old tablet using hospital wifi and I saw them on my phone which is not with me. Not sure I could get my head round doing it anyway 😂 I know the feeling, had a week or so in hospital a few years ago, fortunately after a few days I was mobile enough to go sit in the patients tv room ( had it to myself) with my tablet & phone otherwise I'd have gone nuts. Staff were great checked on me regularly and brought tea toast/biscuits
