Went over to Tilbury today to get my trailer there, as a mate needs his one bike shifted.
On the way back to Rochester , popped into Lakeside/Thurrock...... was like a GHOST TOWN.
Not sure when the new year sales start, but I suspect they are going to be loaded with stuff.
There was just no traffic, and getting into B&Q carpark, I had a choice of spaces up to 3 spaces from the front door.
I actually just popped in to buy a light fitting to use untill I re-fit my landings large 5 light spot that I managed to break off some time ago. I now need to raise the loft floor and fit a piece of backing to the ceiling board in which the lights were screwed.
Anyway, in B&Q, I saw a few people milling around as litteraly crates of tools were emptied on the floor and into shopping trollies..... I guess "damaged " and old stock.
The way it works is: You choose what you want, and then a youngster wraps it all in sellotape and makes a silly price.
ie: Nailgun £5 - New.
I bought a few small £1 items as well, but this is what I got for the money.
Perfectly timed for the new project which will soon be touching down at Cassa Grizz.
