having found out that one of my grandfathers cars was a wolsley hornet?! (his other cars were alvis and saab), i got to wondering what a mini traveller with a hornet/elf front wnd would look like.
i was never a fan of the elf/hornet boot, and i don't think the mini front end really goes with the woodie rear, so two birds one stone as it were?
and how about deseamed? or with jag mk style fogs/vents, and incorporating it all into the bonnet to lost the weird frowny bonnet line?
have at it, ps wizards (or don't, whatever...)

Well here's a first version, factory stock style, with the seams left in place. I converted it to black and white as a compromise as I couldn't match the colours of the two source pictures. I'll have a go at the other mods later unless someone else wants to.

its not too hard a conversion to do either, you can get the front panels new (or a conversion panel) but the rest of the parts your hunting for used. I did the swap on mine last spring as I fancied a change went from to

Pretty sure I've seen pics of normal fronted Minis with the Elf/Hornet boot too. Possibly also ex South Africa.
