I went shopping yesterday in Chester, imagine my surprise when I saw this in the car park: Gorgeous *drool* Don't think I'd have left it there though, at the mercy of the door-bashing MPV brigade

Thats don't think I would have left it there either. Diving around yesterday I saw a Lotus Europa and a Suzuki Whizzkid made my day and made Christmas shopping so much nicer.

There were all sorts of myths around about the Whizzkid when it was current. One was that a GS1000 engine would bolt straight in, clearly nonesense since the bike engine has a gearbox in unit. The other was that a bike head would bolt straight on, this was also untrue as there were no common parts between the car and bike engines.
I'm sure you could put a bike engine in one, but it wouldn't be any easier than with any other car. And you'd probably spend more time fixing all the rust in the shell.
Lovely car though. There's a black one knocking around Wakefield. Tatty looking, but sound.
