	Hi all, one of my children bought a Audi from Motor Point a few months ago, it had a problem with the entertainment system , they returned the car and they said they had fixed it, its gone wrong again, same fault but they refuse to look at it. As its gone 3 months. Also the service light has come on, but i have noticed they don't seem to service the cars before selling them !! Has anybody else had problems with Motor Point in the past, as we keep finding many complaints about them on line. Lucky ours is not too serious atm, but many on line are. The car is being serviced today my a local Audi Specialist so waiting with interest for the report as we have asked them to give it a good check over. so fingers crossed Cheers

	Sadly a reflection of the motor trade today. It seems anybody can buy a few cars at auction, wash 'em and sell 'em for a profit, after advertising online, without so much as thinking about pre-sale preparation. Those that do a thorough job have to charge more for the product, instantly putting them at a disadvantage. There seems to be very little in the way of regulation to stop this happening, other than your basic, statutory rights as a consumer. My dad recently had to return a car to a dealer as described above, after it developed a series of faults and it was discovered that the brake pads had been installed the wrong way round. Luckily the supplying dealer was an honest(ish) type who took it back. Hope the inspection doesn't throw up too many problems, OP.
