Hi all, I have just started a motor home build on a Fiat Ducato. Yesterday I cleaned and insulated the sides with thermo fleece and did the first fit electrics. Today i'm making the removable panels for the rear and side windows, the drivers side window will be permanently blacked out as its behind the bathroom. Cheers - mike

Finished the insulation in the rear of the camper. Tomorrow should see me making the fixed shade for the drivers side window and a removable one for the sliding door. Cheers - mike

hi all here's the rear door pics as they didn't upload. Spent an hour or two up on the earlier fitting the solar panel as we have had a dry day. The drivers side window is now blanked out so I can insulate and board this section when the time comes. The bed frame has been made and I have started making the templates for the rear lining panels and ceiling panels. Next week should see the bedroom area of the camper complete. cheers - mike

thanks,
I like to turn them around in a reasonable time. I don't have the space or facilities for long drawn out builds.

Hi all had an early start today, the rear upper and lower panels are fitted and the rear ceiling is made and should be ready for final fitting tomorrow. The fridge arrived today which means I can set the height of the bed frame. I had 30 mins spare so made the panel for the sliding door. Cheers - mike

Hi all not got as much done today as planned, the weather had been horrendous. I made and fitted the top trim panels for the sliding door and the blackout panels for the side door window. I have just about got the rear ready for the lining carpet, I had to make a trim panel for above the rear doors as there's wiring there that needs access. Also made some closing panels for the larger cut outs in the rear pillars.

hi all started carpet lining the rear bedroom are this morning, drivers side is done and passenger side should be done before lunchtime. I spent a few hours yesterday planning the next stage of the build and have decided to start the kitchen area next as I am still waiting for the shower tray to arrive which stops me building the shower / wardrobe area. Cheers - mike

hi all still plodding away on this, all the units are made apart from one panel for the bathroom, technically I have enough board for it but it would be in 4 bits so I will have to pick up another sheet on monday, Have started final fit now so the bed end panels and wardrobe are in for good. I had to reduce the kitchen unit my 30mm as the passage to the bed was just to narrow. Spent the morning making up the bed frame and supports, just got to weld the support together on Sunday and thats all done.I have the cupboards to make on monday and then onto wiring and plumbing. Cheers - mike

Hi all spent the day working on the upper cupboards, the drivers one is just about fitted but the passenger one is a problem as there's nothing to mount the front end to.I may have to extend the cupboard up to the next post. Should have them sorted tomorrow and the rear ceiling fitted. Cheers - mike
