Hi all. Just a little intro... we're a 'speedshop' in Bristol made up of aerospace engineers repairing and building all manor of things from vintage aircraft restorations to custom vehicles etc. We are currently building a Honda Acty for a customer which should hopefully be pretty cool. It's full of rot as expected so along with replacing all that the job in hand is to build a wild looking truck. All steel hand fabricated wide body etc. It's a bit of a slow burn but should be finished sometime this summer... hopefully! There is a build diary on YouTube for it but filming definitely isn't our strong point!
I just thought id put some pics up here for you all to check out! Ive always kept an eye on retro rides from a distance but thought this might be something that fits in with the other awesome stuff on here. I didn't know much about them before taking the job on but have built up a proper love hate relationship with the thing. If anyones got any cool or interesting facts let me know!
It was pretty rough when it arrived, lots of fibreglass 'bodykit', cable ties, filler etc... but the wheels are pretty sweet and its a awesome project.
We're fairly deep into the thing now but ill try put some pics of the stages up.
