MK2 20vt AGU £5k or as very close to, gets lots of attention runs qpang, running at 200bhp. Full running car, can be enjoyed straight away, pulls well, stops and makes you smile. Front mount intercooler, rear disc conversion, 288 front brakes, all drilled and grooved, this car stops. No power steering or ABS it’s a drivers car. Wouldn’t take much to make it show ready but still holds a crowed as is, hones I can not count how many great comments I get just filling up lol. JOM coilovers that move freely, it’s low but can be raised. These were fitted when I got her and was a lot lower than now! polly bushed, SS exhaust, strut braces. Rota kyusha 15” wheels 8j 0et 2 are kerbed as pics can be restored. Toyo proxy tyres loads of tread left on them as the car has done less than a thousand miles on them. Genuine MBL76 arches still original gel finish, never painted them, was going to paint to match the car but never got to it so the new owner can paint them how they feel.
Paint is ok and the body has no rust at all, there is a few ripples but only close up and I’m been honest, it looks great until you look so close.
Electric windows, central locking, smoothed doors no locks, all works. The radio needs plugging back in at the back, again never bothered as I like the sound of the car. Makes all the great turbo sounds we grew up with.
.Been serviced every year, only done a few hundred miles between them as this car is only used in summer. New cam belt fitted 2yrs ago. Has been maintained no matter what
Issues or character, starter motor is wrong it went and fitted a new without really checking so sometimes you need to give it a little push/rock in gear for it to engage. When driving down a steep hill you do get a bit of smoke from the exhaust when cruising. Boost gauge broke so does not have one at the moment.
I want a Volvo 940 2.3 turbo next as I need to sell this to get a family car. Hopefully be on here more when I get my new car.
