Hey all, I've got a few old Cassette decks I want to bench test to see what works before I put them in my Car or on ebay. Whats the easiest/ cheapest way to do this without starting a fire?
The only car batteries I have are on the cars so, I don't want to use them. I thought about using a battery charger (think I have one somewhere). Any other ideas? I thought about chopping up an old 12v, 3 pin charger but something about that makes me think I'll start a fire plus if the deck starts to smoke it wouldnt be quick to unplug.
Also thinking about putting an inline fuse so I don't fry a good stereo due to not having good switched power. I've been given about 3 80s/90s stereos of late and have an old 80s one from a triumph spitfire we have so would like to see whats working.
