I wonder if someone could help? Just before Christmas I bought a Westfield that's been sat for years and various part had been removed. In a plastic box there were some very rusty screws and some stainless ones to refit the windscreen. I think I have mistakenly thrown out some bits to attach the wipers onto the spindle. It's got normal looking Mini/Triumph wheelboxes fitted but the wipers have screws and I assume some sort of metal wedge to hold the arms onto the spline. I've got the very rusty screws but not the wedges. Tex do this style of wiper still but don't list any separate parts, does anyone know where I might be able to get just the wedges and screws? This is the car, I've spent most of my time getting it running and making the pedals work so I can drive it. Might do a bit of a build thread if there is any interest. I refitted the screen today which is when I found the bits were missing.   |

I've just found one as I didn't know what they looked like. I'd like to think Tex would sell me the bits separately or could make some now I have seen what they are like.  |

I’ll have a look through my parts stash tomorrow evening .
If i haven’t got any , I’m sure you’ll find some , there pretty common on older stuff .

Thanks for the offer. Looking at what is available from Tex nothing available is exactly what I need. I will give them a call and see if they can supply just the wedge bits as I can see me loosing one in the future.

 I've just had a dig though the Herald/Spitfire shed and emerged with this selection. Nothing right but might be able to make something up. I do need a wheelbox and couple of nuts so I might be ok for now. |

Have to say a big thanks to TEX Automotive. I got a parcel today with 2 sets of screws and wedges. I didn't realise there were 2 different sizes but they sent both ! If you need stainless wipers or mirrors might be worth having a look at what they have. texautomotive.com/ |
