I have removed the engine/gearbox from my SE5a Scimitar due to engine swap plans.
3L Essex with Manual Overdrive gearbox.
Ran fine when the car was on the road (about 10 years ago!), I did have the engine running last year as well.
Includes manifolds, carb, alternator, starter, water pump, bellhousing.
Issues I'm aware of are oil leaks (bellhousing is covered in oil so suspect rear main at least) and the overdrive never worked (pretty sure I ruled out electrical issues on that sadly).
Have engine crane available to load. Will need some notice to plan around family commitments!
Looking for £400 for the lot and would prefer all to go as one. Located in Derby.
