HoTWireMy membership is due tomorrow, on checking my account I see that it auto renews. How do I stop that and just have it as a manual renewal? I don't see any option for that. I don't remember setting it up as a recurring subscription, I don't have any of my forum memberships set to recurring. Not that I'm intending to not renew, I just don't like recurring subscriptions.

Cheers yes I know I can stop it in PayPal, but that's backwards IMO. There should be an option to set recurring or not at this end.

I believe you can change it if you log in to the store: store.retro-rides.org/account/loginIt is set up only as a subscription because when it wasn't I spent the majority of my year chasing and organising Comms for people to renew and people questioned why it couldn't autorenew, so I found a way for that to happen. So now I have enough time to actually do something with the site and club that makes it worthwhile being a member (rather than constantly stressing about renewals and emails)

Already looked in there, I can see the order frequency as every "1 year" but no way to change it, I also see the renewals queued until 2028 but no way to remove them. The only option I see is to cancel the subscription.
I quite appreciate why it's set like that, keeping on top of memberships manually is mega time consuming, I used to have to do it 10 or so years ago 😞 The forum I help to admin automatically sends 3 reminder emails at 30,15,5 days before expiry with a renewal link (with a small discount for prompt renewal) However that's on a Joomla/phpBB based site,I'm not familiar with proboards options.
It's not a major deal, I can disable it in Paypal after this years renewal 😎
