Got a strange beetle ignition fault.
Turn key to start. starter engages. starts the second you stop cranking. basically the car starts but leaves the ignition off?
Once started, no fuel guage or anything else that is on with ignition.
Switch off car to the first position. Ignition on.
Tested power to coil whilst cranking using a 12v buzzer. Nothing.
There's only 3 wires to ths switch, so it's gotta be the switch gone bad, right?
