New to the forum 44 year Old plumber. Big into 80s cars.
Started a 95% nut and bolt rebuild of an old Super carry Tx Bus SK410
20 odd in the uk with less than half a dozen registered.
Been In a chicken shed for 20 odd years.
Purchased in October
done on drive during the winter and in the kitchen (stupid idea)
3 weeks away from MOT
Full engine rebuild
Ported Head
Lots and Lots of welding, floors, doors, arches.
Full interior re-spray from the horrible brown to burned orange and black
Slight change of colour from the orginal green
Old skool brushed enamel paint...........seventy five million thousand coats
Vintage cream Roof - wheels will be the same colour
Cut out rotten floor
Every item on the underside coated in roofing bitumen. All welding PU sealed on the underside and body filled on the exterior.
don't really have time to update as a journal build but will upload pics and info as it maybe of interest to someone.
Like working on a toy mechano kit.
