That's similar to the one I was thinking of, interesting to look at but quite pricey to buy a bit to see how well it works - the kit on the Eastwood site is about $170, then shipping, duty etc. Frosts don't seem to list it with their other Eastwood stuff.
The videos I watched looked really good, I did see something similar (not Frosts or Eastwood) at one of the restoration shows and wanted more information but the guys on the stand were just chatting among themselves and didn't notice I wanted to ask them about it.

The paint that seems to have changed the game is called ‘Revell Chrome spray 150ml’. About £23 per tin. I have a similar job to do on the chrome reflector of an indicator housing and I plan on using this stuff. It’s aimed mostly for model builders, but it has a durable finish and doesn’t require the usual black undercoat. Seems good for more than just models. Check out the reviews on YouTube.

Watched a couple of the video's, the Revell is very impressive, best chrome spray I've seen so far. I wonder how robust it is ? how it stands up to the weather & UV exposure ?

Black is not a colour ! .... Its the absence of colour

I was wondering that also; usually any aerosol matallics rapidly go dull without a decent lacquer coat.

I have braved it, and ordered 2 cans online. Not stocked in model shops any more, apparently it is discontinued as it doesn't comply with current (or new) EU regulations for spray paint Does indeed appear to be good stuff from the videos I've seen, and I shall report here as soon as I've had first hand experience of the stuff
