Whoaaa...Another super nice one !! What engine is it? Looking forward to interior and engine bay pictures !! Not yet seen a Golf on those wheels,but they suit it imo. Are they staying,or have you got other plans?

How are those 5x112 wheels attached? Adapters?

I really like the wheels.
They are instantly recognizable as modified Benz wheels, but they look different enough from their stock versions.
To me, they really suit the car.

Man that thing looks good! I ran Benz wheels on my caddy but never liked the 4x100-5x112 fit up.

So ownership of this lovely little car hasn’t started well. Seems the last owners were pretty clueless when it comes to car maintenance. Huge list of stuff to do, so many bodges it’s untrue… but hey, it looked good on their Instagram right… that’s all that matters. So it’s currently not in great shape. But at least it’s with me, and will be spot on for when I eventually move it on.  |

Question… I’m not really up on the VW mod scene, but what are the black things on the strut towers? Some kind of extension?

Yes buddy just allows for more travel on the suspension when lowered. Mk1’s are notorious for riding harsh when lowered… these are a game changer |
