I own (Kinda) an 03 Mini One 1.6 petrol. (90bhp) Its a bit gutless, even after a full service. I can get the ECU from another 1.6 Mini that has more power (115bhp)according to the interwebs. Will they interchange?? Thanks

Only if you swap every IMMO coded module and use the matching key or have the PCM IMMO removed or reprogrammed. And then I’m not sure you are going to notice much benefit.

I checked this out and it is much easier to just map the ECU, thanks. They (relativly well regarded tuner here) take it to 136bhp and a flatter torque curve than the peaky Cooper at 115bhp. So I've asked for a quote. Thanks.

Just be sure that the mileage and module are coded correctly.
If not, you could end up with a tamper dot appearing on the dash.
