I have a box left of bits from my old 1st Generation Audi A3 (think its referred to as the 8L? The same age as a Mk4 Golf/Mk1 TT basically) which was a petrol 1.8 turbo engined version (think it was an AGU - was an early one, a '97) - Would normally end up on a shelf, for when I inevitably end up with another car with this engine, however I am shortly knocking my garage down for an extension (incorporating a bigger garage, no one panic) and am already struggling to cram actual necessary things into sheds, so would rather they were just shifted off out the way to be honest.
There will be a separate post with some bits specific to the A3 itself, but given how many cars the engine is in, I thought it was worth offering these separately - Clearly you are welcome to take the whole lot in one go, in fact that would suit me better! As this was out the A3, the engine was in there transversely as per golf, leon, ibiza, tt etc, whereas it was longitudinal in the A4, A6, Passat etc. I don't think it makes any difference for any of these particular bits, but I wouldnt swear to it
Preference given to someone who will turn up and take the lot and also to who can get it out my way quickest - I really cant get into posting free stuff to loads of places at the minute, I am knackered for time as it is, and to post the whole lot would be a packaging nightmare, and a fortune. I don't want to sound a curse word about it, but I really just need it gone, hence offering for free. Basically, when it gets to the point of me having a day to knock the garage down (or if the builder beats me to it) it will all be going in the bin, as I have no dry storage space left. That will probably be at least a week or two away, but I don't really know (can you tell I am hectic at the minute!?)
What I can offer is collection from either Walsall in the West Mids, or Cardiff, as I live in the first, but work in the second, so go there once a week. I can probably sort out meeting someone on the M5, M50, A449, M4 corridor with it all for that matter too, but would be fairly early in the morning on my way there, or late in the evening on my way back.
(For anyone who has already looked at any of my other posts that have gone up tonight, I make no excuses for copying and pasting pretty much the same ads for different stuff by the way - This is designed for speed of getting rid of the stuff, not for quality of reading 😂)

In Tank Petrol pump, swirlpot and level sensor. Retaining ring is included too, its just not in pics. As I say, this is from an A3 - I assume it is common to most/all 1.8T applications, but am only guessing based on how often VAG share parts across everything
Fuel Rail/Injectors - Injectors have seen better days in terms of surface rust, but was all working when it came out the car
Ignition Amp
4x ignition coils - Were all working fine when car was broken up
Some sort of sensor/housing - Cant remember what it was for
Ali rocker cover - Painted white
Throttle body - Memory tells me these were quite sought after, as the early ones like this were cable operated rather than fly by wire, so could be used for conversions into other stuff. Looks a bit grubby, but was working fine when car came off road
Cant remember - Some sort of water pipe with sensors
Drive shaft heat shield
Water Pipe I think - Maybe from rear of engine somewhere, given heat shielding
Couple of turbo charge pipes
