Happy New Year all!
This is probably a very daft question, but I'm hoping you lovely knowledgeable lot will be able to advise!
There's a chance I may need to shuffle my Van and GTI around. I'm hoping that the Golf can go and live elsewhere for a while, and the van can squeeze into the garage.
It's a tight fit heightwise but I think I may be able to get it in if the up-and-over door wasn't in the way...theory goes if I remove the door panel, roll the van in, and then attach the panel again.
Is it simply a case of unbolting the panel brackets and removing the door, or do I need to release springs and the mechanism etc too? It looks like I can take just the panel off, leaving the brackets hanging, but paranoid about taking a limb off or damaging a car
It's a boggo standard Garador if that makes any difference.
Thanks in advance and some retro goodness as payment for a dull thread!
