Hi, Love this forum. But since about a week I have issues if I try to access topics with new postings via notifications or other direct links. Classic way via the home page clicking in a topic list and then a topic does still work. Get the following message:
|
|
73' Alfa Giulia Super 64' Volvo Duett 65' Volvo Duett 67' Volvo Amazon 123GT 09' Ford Focus 1.8 20' VW ID4
71' Benelli Motorella 65' Cyrus Speciaal

You're not the first, I just quote jimi here: Already being investigated LINKY Edit Although it doesn't seem to affect everyone, I haven't had any problems on Chrome, Firefox, WIN 10 & 11, Android (tablet and phone)

A bit of guidance is required as usual Like me my computer is rather old and we have probably missed something, plus I am not the best with these things as some of you will know. Just recently I have noticed that when I click on the right hand side of a thread to see the latest post I just get this screen which means I have to go back to the main page then click on the left hand side of a thread then click the last page. is it me ? please keep any replies in simple non techy terms if possible, thanks in advance

Same problem here. I get it using any of the links which contain 'recent', such as forum.retro-rides.org/threads/recent/226151 Also get it when submitting posts, but the post seems to work - I just get the error message. I'm using Windows and Edge as a web browser (sorry!)

Try clearing site (for Retro Rides) cookies and data in your browser.

And here. Also issues logging in, I get a "the page is not available" error. Apparently too many redirects and I should clear my cookies. Which I have. Android phone and ancient laptop on W7, I haven't tried my PC to date. Now I can't log out!!!

Windows 10, desktop, Firefox.
Today I've been unable to upload photos in a post. I can select the image and go through the upload process as normal but then all I get on screen is the html code for img and no actual link or image showing. Normally I don't have any issues at all, the image uploader is usually very good.
Sometimes when I go to a new page while signed in, I get signed out. Sometimes it happens when I try to reply. If I then go to sign in, I already am. This problem is sporadic and has also only appeared today. There doesn't seem to be a pattern to when it happens, if I figure out there is one I will of course update with that.
Yesterday everything was working fine, as far as I'm aware I've had no fresh updates at my end and clearing cookies etc. doesn't make any difference.

Something funky is going on with the forum, I'm trying to get to the bottom of it. This is a new thing though and currently seems to work for me.
