The security light which lights up the path between my shed and garage has finally packed up (no surprises there- cheap, nasty, hateful things) and I want to replace it with something a bit less dull.
My first thought was a small VW or Union 76 roundel, but the prices are a bit rich for my tastes. All the stuff in the likes of Wickes and B&Q is just predictable and many of them are sealed LED units now.
I want something that can be made come on automatically at dusk and go off again at dawn. I'm currently using bulkhead lamps on the house with dusk-till-dawn screw cap bulbs from tool station which work well, but don't fulfil the 'interesting' brief. I've also got a hive system so could use a hive plug in the garage to control it.
