Hi, I keep seeing adverts for hydraulic operated scissor lifts that you drive onto and then lift up. Kind of like ramps but the platform under the wheels is flat on the ground and then you pump it up in the air. I’d like to buy a pair of them as they would suit low entry cars much better than ramps etc. Problem is, all of the adverts seem to be fake and I cannot find anywhere online that actually sells these things! Pic below is what I’m after. Anyone point me in the right direction?? Thanks

May be worth a look at Costco as they stocked a similar set a while back. You are right though, the web is full of fake sites advertising these.

Thanks for the replies!
Yes those CJ autos ones are what I’m after. Shame they are out of stock but I’m not far from them so might call in and have a chat with them. If I can get some then I’ll do a post on here to let people know what they’re like.

I looked all over for several months for something like this as I needed to lift the van by the wheels. Didn't find anything and ended up with a set of these instead I don't drive up them but use a trolley jack and place the ramps under the wheels. Not ideal but gets the job done. I have thought about making the ramp part detachable but like so many ideas i doubt I'll ever have the time.

I've seen various similar ones that lift the car on the sills but it just doesn't feel right to me.

Basically, I've got a beetle that it quite low so would catch on a normal ramp. Is there a reason why you don't want to drive up onto them?

The van doesn't drive at the moment, though even if it did i'm not sure it has the horse power. I've never liked ramps of any kind to be honest. If you like I can take some specific measurements to see if they suit.

Haha fair enough Don't worry about measurements - the ones on the image give me a good idea
