Hi All,
It's actually a vauxhall movano but it's the same van.
It's developed a couple of electrical issues set out below
The passenger electric window don't operate by the single switch, I've tried 2 used switches what was previously working in another vehicles.
When pressing the switch the interior light comes on, the passenger door shows as open on the dashboard.
It operates perfectly from the driver's side.
If I press the heated rear window switch and/or indercator left the interior light comes on and it shows passenger door open on the dash.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you Danny

Worth joining the Movano facebook group and asking on there. Could be a CAN / body computer issue

If your lucky could just be a dodgy earth/door harness issue but more likely the body control module as stated above

Have a very good look at the wires running through from the body across the hinge into the door. Something like this is bound to be caused by shorting wires.

Unfortunately, these models are known to have used what I would describe as poor quality wiring. Disintegrating wire insulation is common especially in area's around the engine bay fuse & relays. I had a problem with a non starting 2008 which was the immobiliser wiring coming into said relay area. Wires were actually bare in places and hanging by a strand or two!

That's disgraceful to see in this day and age. In the 1960s and 70s you could understand how they could make the mistake but by now you don't really expect it.

likely to be door harnes, especially where if flexes between body and door. The heated rear window switch probably also sends power to the heated door mirror, which is why it is affecting things relating to the door.
