**SOLD**
2001 Honda HR-V GH2 'Joy Machine'
1.6 Petrol, manual, 4WD
*ULEZ Compliant*
Freshly MOT'd, low mileage (70k) 4x4 ready for winter.
The HR-V drives very nicely, I've used it daily for about 18months and enjoyed every minute of it.
The engine, gearbox, clutch and brakes all work absolutely as intended, The D16W1 fires up readily, idles smooth and pulls well for it's 103hp. The 4wd works as it should and the system had fresh Honda fluid last year, I do have another couple of litres for another change that I will include too.
Rare optional half leather and alcatara interior is pretty tidy, no damage though the drivers seat alcantara is looking a little flat. There are some marks around the body as you might expect of a 22y/o car, a ding on the tailgate, one behind the drivers door and a scuff on the front bumper, but it presents very well and the paint really pops in the sun.
It has a fair amount of paperwork, MOTs back to 2012, the dealer pack, manual and even the PDI! I have also sourced some original sales photos that will be included.
Original dealer plates and stickers (Chatsworth Honda of Derby)
I've fitted a period looking single din bluetooth headunit which works well.
The AC is ice cold, the heater is amazing, the electric windows and the electric and folding mirrors are faultless and smooth in their operation.
I've fitted a metal 'Mugen' style gearknob that matches the exterior colour. The stock gearknob is in the glovebox ready to swap back on when it gets properly cold!
It's riding on it's standard 16" 5spoke alloys which are in fair condition and shod in a matched set of Hankook Optimo 4S which are around half worn.
During my ownership I have done an oil service, plugs, front brake pads, a pair of front drop links and track rod ends. I've also polished the headlights which cleaned the front end up a treat.
I also repaired the sill ends underneath the side-skirts for the MOT last year and the as you can see in the photos, the bodywork around that area needs finishing off.
It has a TOAD alarm system fitted, which works well and operates the factory central locking, There are two keys, one has a TOAD fob and one has the factory Honda fob.
It could, with some further tidying, make a truly remarkable example of an early HR-V.
Viewing is recommended.
Price is£1,750 but I'll listen to sensible offers. £SOLD
