I've not been on here in a while but long story short, I bought a Ford SportKa 6 months ago, because fun and analogue. Previous projects have been mostly GRP, so if one of the most weld-needy yokes of this century was going to survive, I wasn't going to do it lying down.
Rotisseries and jigs are available, but mostly for proper retros that have proper bumper mounts.
What to do with a 'modern'? Adopt, Adapt and Improve. Find some solid mounting points and start welding box section.
In the centre I've used the seat belt mounting points and the original bolts. (The rear suspension mounts are too compromised).
At the front I've used the engine and battery tray mounting points.
The thing in operation

Hopefully this gives food for thought for others looking to simply a rebuild.
