I've got that age old problem of water getting in to the cars cabin (and maybe boot) through the seals. I've replaced these all before but it doesnt seem to help that much. I havent got a photo but as you can imagine... its all seamed up.
Drivers door seal: - I've just refitted the door seals and it seems to have gone on a bit better now but leaves me with a gap so looks like I'll be buying another one of them. It seemed to be coming in around the seal by the front corner of the door and down into the drivers footwell soaking all the floor. I'm going to keep my eye on it now i've refitted it better on the corner but is there anything else I'm missing ? It had water on top of the door seal in this area.
Boot Seal: - Just looking at the boot seal and that seemed a bit damp (again) in places on the top of the seal. I'm not sure what I can do about that as the seal is maybe 2 years old max and fitted really well/tight. Any advice? I don't think I can adjust the lid any lower.
Rear Quarters:- The 3rd seal(s) that need doing but are more involved are the rear windows. I'll buy some of these soon as they're a bit cracked and must be leaking somewhere. I've seen a set of original ones online for £100 but you can get reproduction ones for £30. I'd usual go original but with it being old rubber, I'm not sure if it will perish quickly?
I do have photos of these. Any advise on getting seals right, what not to buy etc would be amazing. This car leaks like mad and i'd love to sort it out.
