Today in Greenwich/Woolwich area at the Queen Elizabeth hospital, I saw what I would deffo consider for a drop and stick treatment, maybe evn the Touring car treatment. On a German plate..... SU-CK **** Honest. The first generation of Renault Meganes, an Estate which I have never seen here. Has anyone got any idea if they were built in Right hand drive form ?? If so , post a picture. GERMANY, France.... Have you got any ideas, please post a pic of said car. Here is an example of the Hatchback sedan.

I don't think ive seen a megane estate either, mind you, I don't tend to look out for them. My sister's got a megane, the same colour as the one in the first picture, infact its almost identicle. I can see a fair bit of potential in them, unfortunatly it looks like my sister's one has been given the FULL halfords treatment. Id post a pic of it up here but I don't think I could deal with all the abuse id probably receive LoL

Not keen on that. For worse abortions though, have a look for Clio saloons.

I love something a bit different (watch this space ) Anyway, the one I saw must have been dropped or overloaded already, but it looked very good as it was, and started the worms working in my head. Clios are nice , but as you say, too many abortions out there with mahoosive Zorsts.

I just envision it as a car with the right shape to sneak into the Retro-Rides game quietly. AVANTIME .... I hear you say. I looked at one as an option as company car about 5 years ago, and liked it. Bought a Golf GTi Diesel 150 in stead of it and a C Class Benz, now I do have a Benz as follow up to the Golf. Again one of those cars that few will see the sense in buying, but in my view a lot of car for the money. Not sure how badly they go wrong though. Why is it so hard to move on ? Look behing the Opel

don't they have corsa estates on the continent too? Would not be surprised, but the 4 door sedan sells as the Classic, as does the Polo as Classic, and then there is the Corsa Pickup, my brother has the previous shape one, and has ordered himself a new one for delivery 01 Jan 2008, to get the new year reg. Old shape: FRESH !! Nice rear POLO

I really really really despise the Mk4 (Mk3....) Polo 'Classic' but that Mk7 one looks good! Mini Jetta like.

Shouldn´t you be out in the garage doing something usefull rather than looking up modern "will never be retro" Renaults ;D
Although to be fair my mate ran an Avantime and it drove quite well, if you like that sort of thing!

You were right, I should have been out in the garage, just got in, have cleaned and moved stuff around, have not really been in there in about 8 weeks, except to drag a motorbike out. But just you watch this space Dave, I am busy with a cunning plan, and hope to have a reason to be there in the next few months. Gotta be patient on this one, me.
