Recently bought from Mathewsons (bangers and cash) Having spent most days over the last two years trying to find my ideal B it was a relief to find a nice car delivered to my home. Phew! Long MOT, drives really well, running a little rich and needing small areas of paint. Apart from that I'm chuffed 👍

that’s nice , well done
there is some rubbish out there that’s for sure
people asking big £££ for cars that obviously need a heap of bodywork
had one lined up earlier this year but the guy was slow sorting some bits in it and by the time is was done i had been out in for redundancy so had to say no
i was paying £6k for an ex show winner that needed small amount of paint rectified but it was spotless underneath
‘be had to lower my sights and bit less cash now so no mgb gt for me

Sorry to hear it didn't work out for you. Yes sellers are really trying it on with the prices, many cars not described honestly so proceed with extreme caution if you want a B

1000 miles on the B now, all good so far, only minor tinkering required. Weirdly good for an old British classic
