2000 Toyota MR2 - Tooting - £2,250

Thanks for the post, the ULEZ implementation makes me angry. I actually wrote to my MP for the first time in my life!

The car belongs to a work colleague of mine who I am helping to sell it. Looking at is dispassionately you can see that it is a no brainer to scrap the car and take the £2k.

I have considered buying the car myself. It has everything going for it. It's just not the right car at the right time. If I'm honest with myself I need to get down to one car by the end of the year due to a house purchase.

Both of my cars are non-compliant but unlike the owner of the MR2 I live just outside the expanded ULEZ zone and my new place is further out. Like the MR2 both of mine are catalysed, multi-point injected, 'efficient', 'modern' petrol cars- a 1.4 Peugeot 106 (bought on here!) and a 525i.
