I bought this car 11 years ago when it was a 1.6 Cli to convert to a 2.8 Vr6, it took nearly 4 years of evenings and weekends to get it to what it is now. I have plenty of photos of the build as it progressed along with all receipts for parts and work carried out.
In summary :- VW 2.8 Vr6 with DRC 268 camshafts and a remap carried out by Vince at Stealth Racing.
New clutch / New chains,guides and tensioner / Under drive lightweight pulleys / Mk3 Golf running gear with Eibach arb`s / Custom stainless exhaust / 2 reclining bucket seats with harnesses and stripped carpeted rear / Mk3 BBS alloys with Toyo Proxies / Rebuilt Mk3 brakes with uprated discs and pads / Coilover suspension / Mk3 Golf ABS / New brake lines in copper with braided hoses.
There is a lot more work that has been carried out as is listed in the build folder which i will pass on to the new owner.
