Yep, the question has arrisen for me recently with the impending arrival of the new baby (Greasy type) what price is storage. I want to move some of the wibblepoo in my garage out, spares etc, so was looking at wooden and metal sheds. The average price in wood and metal not yet assembled, for a 6 x 4 foot shed ranges from £250 - £350 dependant on spec etc. I then had my neighbour pop over on Sunday under the influence of Jack Daniels, and he suggested I look at EX-BT van bodies in glassfibre. What a surprise...... The price is deffo right. For me however, the size is just too big. In metric it is: 2.2m X 2.2m and the length is 4m including the nose cone. so I guess the cube is 2.2 X 2.2 X 3.6m This includes a workbench and shelves as well as a wooden floor and the nose cone has a lockable door. There is also a compartment in the left front bottom corner which is for gas bottles and seals and locks securely. The rear door opens in 3 sections, door and then the 2 smaller sections. You could have a big motorbike in there, or do whatever you want with the shelves etc. The hinges are stainless steel, and there are decent locks on the doors as well, a skylight/vent is provided, the amber light in place and the glassfibre is real THUD-thickness. What price would you pay for this ?Price, COLLECTED: £200 This has to be the storage/workshop bargain of the year. Some of you may know where to find them even cheaper, but to me this seems a decent deal. Opinions??

Place I'm sub contracting at at the moment is using 3 of them for storage sheds. Waterproof, cheap, cheap and cheap. Only downside I can see is your other neighbours possible reactions to one.

I would say that it is fit for purpose.... the purpose I have is to store wheels, and other bits in there. The Price is no doubt so that the seller can make a profit, and hey.... the money would be in my pocket to decide where to spend it. Still a lot better than a wooden shed from BnQ or any other similar sellers. I did bang the body a bit, and it will stop the opportunist, but not the pro. Pays yer money, gets yer goods.

Depends on where you are in the country , and what is inside them. I would rather pay £100 for one than £200, but the one I saw had the workbenches etc still inside, and to my eye that seemed a pretty good price. Would be funny if your boss is the same guy selling them to the guy I spoke to ;D

LOL! no its a different guy!
They come with benches down both sides, a cooker, place for a gas bottle, some come with night heaters, shylight, shelving, fire blanket, step to get into it, and probably mroe i havnt noticed. I think all the bodies are built in the same factory, so presumably all the same.
I think we sell them £50 but i said £100 as i think we sold one for that once.
If you are near warrington, ill ask for you!?

I would bite few hands off at £50 or £100, but then there is the matter of moving it 230miles / 4 hours to where I live ;D I was measuring the boundary bit of land to where I live and it may just fit, so who knows, I may still get a £200 Glassfibre shed.

Mine in Kent is in Strood, and at Cuxton House MOT station, and I believe he can get more.
Some of them have roller shutter doors which for me would be even better,
I measured and if it comes here the width onto my boundary will fit with the width of a ball hair to spare.
