I have 'extracted images' from YouTube postings, modifying Getz for Motorsport.... These have given me a clue as to where the 'internal roof braces' are located. My original plan was to work with the Roof Rails BUT not having to drill/cut into my car 🙄. I think now I'm happy to make a mark (to suit a tightening stud), drill through the roof and make a corresponding 'pie-cutter' hole upwards, in the headlining/board >> I would insert a soft form gromit into the holes, after tightening the stud + load spreader washer 👍 More to follow in spring(.... Winter here, just now ⛷️). OVIMOR  |

... Quick clatter around with mallet + rubber grease should sort it thismorning.
A new slider pin set will get ordered for when I do the pads again 👍

Buy a Lottery Ticket tonight 🙄... NOW the OSF caliper has started sticky/smoking.. unbelievable! I'm sacking this one off.. onto my friendly 'oily spanner', his lock-up is just around the corner. I have a breaker Caliper (£20 del) coming and I'm booked in for Saturday. He will pull up my handbrake/do shoes & swap tyres front to back. It is too damn cold + wet for back lane wrangling 😕🛠️. I have suffered 'chuntering', a popply miss, when pressing gently on the throttle in a high gear/slowish speed. This is NOT labouring.... Today I swapped out the plug leads 👍 TOTAL fix 🥳 .... 18yr old 'baked' leads just breaking down 😕  OVIMOR |
