** Well, it looks like this is back up for sale. I had a buyer, who had paid a deposit and arranged to collect after a family holiday. That was over three weeks ago and I've not heard a thing since. It's a shame as he was a nice chap, and I was glad it was going to a good home. I've no idea what happened, but I hope you're OK! I do however want the car off my drive and my son needs the money for repairs on his current car! **
This is my son's 190E. It was his daily for a while, but he bought a new car and then moved out - leaving this on my driveway (don't worry, he knows I'm selling it. He's asked me to do it on his behalf!). The MOT ran out in October last year. It was being driven up until that point - although admittedly not particularly well as I think it needed a tune. The battery is flat from sitting, but it starts fine on my jump pack...prospective buyers will be able to hear it running.
It's an 1.8 Injection with a manual 'box. Mileage says nearly 290,000 but it's actually 100,000 less than that - there's some paperwork somewhere that literally shows it gaining 100,000 overnight, and the MOT history tells a similar story. It's lowered on shorter springs, rides nicely and has a splendid set of genuine BBS Mahle staggered rims (7s and 8s, I think - 16" diameter) which are probably worth as much as the asking price for the whole car! There's a full stainless exhaust including a sport cat fitted during my son's tenure at great expense. The standard steering wheel and a set of stock steels (without any hubcaps, I'm afraid) and tyres will be included in the sale.
The interior is suffering from the usual 190E door card problems, but otherwise is in OK condition. There's a Bluetooth stereo and the unusual combination of manually operated windows and an electric sunroof (which works).
It's a pretty solid car, but apparently (according to mercdan, who knows these things!) needs a bit of welding at the rear of the sills - a common rot point on these, I'm told.
In the right hands (not mine - I'm flippin' useless!) this would make a super cool cruiser or even daily for minimal outlay. I just want it gone! The pictures were taken today and are intended to give an honest representation of the car. I quickly washed it the other day, but haven't detailed, vacuumed it or done any pre-sale tarting.
The car is located in Greenhithe, near Bluewater/Dartford Crossing/A2/M25 J1 DA9. If you need any more info PM me and I'll try my best to help.
ps. I'm also not much of a gardener, please don't judge me! :-)

Thanks for looking. Please buy it from here so I don't have to deal with plebs on Marketplace or Ebay! :-)
