I've got this T25 laying around and can get a manifold off a mate that will fit..... But this is pretty much a budget build, so no fuel injection allowed. I'd like to keep the twin carbs I've got, but how do I 'seal them'.? And perhaps...... how would I go about piping it all up? Cheers ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) What it's going in ![](http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g89/Bobz_photos/tony-chop1.jpg) Yeah, it's a chop ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png)

That SAAB is ace! not sure what carb(s) your running in it but you could adapt some SU's from metro/maestro/montego turbos.I have an intercooler from a 900 carlson if your interested.

If there was a turbo version of your engine, I'd be tempted to source the fuel system and other components from that if it just bolts on. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

I would think that some junkyard searching would yield a Kjet system, from head to air filter. Otherwise, I wouldn't screw around with trying to seal the carbs-draw through should work as well, most production turbo carb'd cars sucked, they didn't blow.

take bike carbs, they're allready made for ram air, so sealed pretty well.

its not just a matter of being sealed. the floats in a lot of carbs sink, split or deform under pressure from forced induction. A carb off a turbo engie (assuming its blow through) will do the job, otherwise can you not create a draw-through system?

nice car,
just buy donor 8 valve turbo, they're cheap and do a transplant, no messing.
I wouldn't bother with heath robinson carb setups. K-jetronic is much better.

id agree with the k-jetronic, you could utilise su,s and i think they would bolt on in place of the zeniths if my memorys correct, and again from a turbo montego you may be close with the fueling but injection would be far superior and worth the effort
