I recently acquired a tidy little 1993 Rover Metro 1.1s as a retro daily.
It’s had a little work done to make it slightly different to how it came off the line 30yrs ago. Obviously they didn’t come on the Revolution wheels (funnily enough I’d like to change these for some Compomotive TH’s), however the rest of the changes are under the bonnet.
It’s had the 1.1 motor swapped out for a 36,000 miles, 1.4c 8v GTA motor, higher compression, tubular headers, custom exhaust system and ported head and intake. This takes it all roughly to 100bhp and sub-10sec 0-60. It’s a little riot!
