	Hi all I dug my slk out of storage on sunday and have spent the last few days getting her ready for a trip down to torquay. I have not had to do much to her, a new battery, oil,air and oil filter and a few off bits of fettling. Spent most of the day today giving her a good clean. She's only done 93k and is in pretty good nick. I am always surprised at how well she drives, very smooth but quick when required.

	Underrated cars, especially the torquey & fuel efficient 230 Kompressor's. Prices are on the rise too.

	Hi all just back from my trip, nearly 1000 miles in a week and she didn't miss a beat and returned over 40mpg. There are however a few things to attend to, the brakes squeal really bad at anything under 15mph as you come to a stop. The handbrake is ok but on some of the steeper hills it didn't want to hold the car so that needs to come apart and get checked. And finally, I think its time to upgrade the cd player to something more modern as most of my cd's are scratched and don't play well. Cheers - mike

	Glad that you had a good trip. SLKs are very underated by those who haven't driven one.
