OK, this was a wee sideline project but it has no real use for me. I've done a whack but for now here's the spec:
JDM Import Series 1 Discovery V8, comes with the 4.0i Rover V8 and 4 speed ZF. Both have been serviced in the past month with new filters and fluids.
As per all series 1's, body rust was exemplary, so its had full sills, floor and a variety of other sections replaced by the spark torch.
Whilst the welder was out, I chucked a pair of heated MX5 leathers in.
Its got all the big manly tough mods you see in the pics below, plus that exhaust is fairly fresh with new headers (also rust, impressive). Its not wild loud though, I've not had my neighbours complain yet.
85k miles on it but the speedo has stopped working so this would need looking at. Other issues, its got dents and dings but its a reasonable 10 footer. Its also a Discovery, not a scene car show and shine winner. Its crucially solid.
Long MOT, drives fine, all the 4wd stuff does the thing.
Come do a buy, or if you have interesting things offer a swap as I'm a bit dumb that way...
Price dropped this, its literally sitting gathering dust and I'm NOT an offroad guy.
