Well, this may come as a shock, but I am selling my Celica.
10 years down the line and three iterations later, I am ready to move onto something new and to see if I can complete my dream garage. You guys know the build pretty well, it has been documented in readers rides and on YT comprehensively, I cannot hide anything!
Spec is as below:
Exterior:
Bare shell respray to Maxmeyer pantone 3262, +25mm fiberglass front arches, LED bulbs in all lights, Xenon dip and main beam projector headlights, side indicators relocated, ‘DTM’ type wing mirrors, heated windscreen from Ricky Evans Motorsport, ESM 016 wheels in 17x8.5”, GT Radial Champiro SX2 tyres in 235/45/17 size, carbon slam panel
Interior:
Mirco FIA seats with custom fixed mounts, drivers seat 75mm lower, passenger seat 250mm further back and 100mm lower, Sabelt 5 point harnesses, CDS TIG welded harness bar, custom chassis loom, gear shift tower up by 100mm, battery moved to rear seat location with cut off
Engine:
Long block - Generation 5 3S-GE BEAMS Black top engine fitted, Eagle connecting rods and CP forged pistons (0.5mm overbore), VVTi working on both inlet and exhaust. Stock cams and titanium valves, all inspected and cleaned using ultrasonic tank and non-chlorinated solution, clearances checked ~1500 miles ago.
Exhaust - Custom stainless steel exhaust manifold with individual ETG bosses, IHI RX6d turbocharger, AFX wastegate, custom 316 turbo down pipe, Bosch LSU4.9 WBO2 sensor, custom 304 stainless 63mm exhaust system with v-band joints.
Cooling - Silicone hoses using Norma CT clamps, custom aluminium induction piping, Wagner style Mercedes b-AMG intercooler, aluminium 50mm core VW radiator for engine with pusher fan, custom coolant swirl pot and hard lines, expansion tank.
Misc - MAC boost control valve, Generation 4 3s-ge BEAMS intake manifold, custom radiator support, C-One strut tower bar, uprated fuel pump, uprated fuel pressure regulator, 930cc Denso injectors, dual feed stock fuel rail. Water injection system installed but not running.
ECU – ECUMaster EMU Black engine control unit, EDL-1 logger, BMW DBW pedal and throttle, custom loom, Denso micro alternator relocated to back of engine.
Braking:
Totally rebuilt stock system, master cylinder, uprated pads, rear hoses braided, new stock front lines inc hard joint on SS
Suspension / Steering:
BC coil over dampers, front using modified Toyota ‘super strut’ legs, C-One front lower camber plates, tanabe front and rear uprated anti roll bars, polyurethane subframe and dif bushes. Electric power steering conversion using Mercedes A class pump and custom hoses
Drivetrain:
Stock gearbox, Cusco Hyper Single clutch modified to accept cerametallic friction plate, Cusco rear plate LSD.
