I bought a 100 of these about 15 years ago they are Dommed Head Allen Key Alloy bolts 5mm thread and 15mm long. They were quite cheep at the time. I need another 150 and cant find any at a reasonable price, lots of the motor bike shops sell them but are stupid prices Any idea who still stocks these or very similar, they have to be 5mm and natural alloy finish.

They’re generally referred to as fairing bolts, lots of uses but mostly motorcycle related as you say. You can probably get a big bag full from China for butttons of ebay if you’re prepared to wait a few weeks though.

If they were all 5mm it would be almost perfect. That's not a bad price either. Will deffinatley keep them in mind, cheers

Are you searching for domed head or button head?
Does look an odd thread/key combination though. Could you use a larger hex key size?

Do they have to be alloy? I'm sure the workshop next door buys these in stainless.

No I don't want a bigger Key that dome head size is perfect, i need to use well over a hundred all together and alloy is lighter than S/Steel as they are only holding light panels in place. Pro bolt looks good except the price if I'm buying a lot of them. I'm waiting for some companies to get back to me, if not i can see me going the Ebay route....£35 for 100. But will keep looking. Cheers for your help

Did not have any joy in the UK, the usual "we will get back to you etc" So bit the bullet and ordered them on Ebay from China. They only took 2 weeks and are perfect and well made. I actually found the bill for the original ones from 20 years ago and the ones from China and nearly half the price so well pleased, thanks for all the advice much appreciated.
