1984 MG metro turbo 6r4 kitted 4wd 300hp turbo beastie
This metro is running the well respected Audi 225 bam running gear full 4wd turbo approximately 300hp
This car is extensively modified and running the whole running drivetrain from the Audi,so you get such benefits as abs, ayc, and dsc to keep you safe while hooning around . I will try to have the car weighed this week but guessing around the ton, so will list the spec of the car as best as I can.
Full roll cage fitted,not a cheap item and done very very well and ties the whole car together perfectly.
JR racing wheels and larger profile tyres to make any road journey that bit more comfortable,this was a conscious choice due to the state of the roads and how firm the car is when driving every day.
It has new stance plus Coilovers and drop links all round
New vented and grooved disks and new pads all round
Powerflex front leg top mounts. no other part is Polybushed on the car
New ball joints and track rod ends
Remapped to 280+ bhp
Full 3" stainless exhaust hand made by the only guy I have ever used J.A.C exhausts in Nottingham and has 3" downpipe fitted, revs very well and is not too loud on start up or everyday use.
Brand new Ramair filter, always used these and never had any issues.
72mm intercooler and colour coded silicone hoses fitted at the front
Radiator in the rear alloy high flow golf item.
Compbrake alloy eight gallon fuel cell behind front seats
Fresh paint in Rothmans blue and white including Doorshuts and full Rothmans decals applied recently.
Full 6r4 kit fitted and bonded. Front and rear lights are the correct ones for the year of the car.
Fully welded front to rear including additional strengthening on the chassis and inner sills
This car is rock solid and does not flex, bend, move.
Full perspex windows with brand new screen on the front.
new tdo4 turbo new sump strainer and anti surge plate
The car has speed sensitive power steering as per Audi spec of the donor car
The car will need some finishing under the bonnet and in the interior,but this is a running, driving, braking and steering car and has been used over winter and has mot till feb 2024 .
