Well it’s been a long while since I was properly active on here but I have still been tinkering and attending the usual shows, alongside adult life (sigh 🙄😂).
Some of you may remember me for my love of J cars (and the odd silly thing chucked in lol).
Well I still have most/all of what I had before but there has been some progress over the last few years. I will get round to making a build thread for each as soon as I can but for now here’s some pics of my little fleet.
Ok, let’s start with the silly one. This is my 1977 Mini Clubman shorty. It’s silly, crazy, bonkers and…….. pink!
I’ve owned it since 2005 and the last time it was on the road was……..2005!! 😂🤦♂️. I will do something with it at some point.
Then there is my, probably most well known car currently. My 1978 Datsun 140y coupe! Ive owned this since 2011 and since then I’ve turned it from a slightly tatty, standard 1 owner car to a low, wide and loud slice of UKDM turned JDM classic. This is the one I’ve been taking to shows for many years, often alongside many other Datsuns as I run the Datsun Club UK.
Great fun and still evolving 👍
Next is a car I’ve had longer than the Datsun but has been in hiding for the last 14 years lol. My 1981 Toyota Corolla KE70. I’ve always considered this one to be my “main project” even though I only did the basics before it went away, however, for many years I’ve had big plans for it. This car will be getting a 4.0 Lexus V8 fitted to it with a manual box. Alongside that it will be getting lots of rare JDM parts and a new set of wheels to give it a fully new look to go with the new lump. Ive got an engine, rear axle and other cool parts I’ve been collecting for a while and hope to get the project properly going this year. Can’t wait 😊
Now for the daily……… yea I don’t do normal or boring! Yea I daily a V8!! 😂
This is my 1998 Lexus LS400 (on LPG….. I’m not that rich 😉).
I’m planning a basic VIP look by summer and am currently building a set of 19” Work wheels for it. During winter, the coilovers get wound right up and the chunky tyres go on to give it a sort of lifted vibe. It also makes nice v8 noises and has heated seats! Perfect daily 🥰
Oh, I do also have this…….. the donor car for the Corolla project!
This was once Gary Linekers Lexus but never mind…….. I’ll have a celebrity engine 😂
I hope you like my little fleet and give me some encouragement to get it done (I except donations 😂)
