I've got a Fiat 126 BIS that I've told the house gaffer I will sell so I can make way for something else I fancy. I'm not sure where to put it at price wise.
It's currently sitting in my garage with the engine and box out of it. I bought it in about 2015 with a broken gearbox and a bodged headgasket (that turned out to have a snapped head bolt left as is) repair so I bought a second hand gearbox and engine off someone in the club. The engine had a rebuild with new camshaft, valves and followers and the valve seats re-ground and head skimmed then put back together. Unfortunately after the rebuild I didn't realise the flywheel was balanced so there was a bit of a knock coming from the bell housing which is why the engine came back out.
What basically needs doing is working out the orientation of the flywheel and putting back together, or alternatively go for an engine conversion. I did do some research and measuring and a bmw k75 should fit with some slight tweaking and someone has put a 1.2 fire engine in one but life and other projects kid of got a bit in the way and it hasn't moved since.
Body wise it's really good, a very small patch of surface rust under the bonnet (technically boot on this) and inner wing but doesn't need welding. The interior is pretty much immaculate. It would be a pretty easy project for someone with the time but I'm just not sure where to price it. I can't get it out the garage till next week so only have a couple of pictures from a few years ago and when I pulled the engine but if anyone has any advice on where to price it or if anyone's interested it would be much appreciated.
