I've long been a fan of this forum and the awesome build threads! I felt it was time I start one myself for the J4 campervan.
Picked her up at the beginning of summer, from a local legendary MG garage. I've got a little classic car experience, owned a Morris traveller as a first car and took it through a restoration (which I did get a professional to install some panels and woodwork).
So this is Dora the Dormobile campervan, based on the Austin J4 platform. Running a 1622cc B series with a 4 speed box.
The plan is to get it solid and painted fitted with an 1800 mgb engine and overdrive gearbox. This is the loose plan but as a relative beginner things can change!
The van is currently fully stripped and I'm working on the front end metal work. The curved windscreen and valance panels have been causing me no end of problems!
