I'm putting a mgf engine into my rover 100, I'm using speeduino and to keep it the same style as my bmw on microsquirt, i was going to use a ford coil pack and an ignition amplifier. So when the leads came, tehy are the same as fiesta ones like on the bmw, but when the coil pack came it has different ends inside of it.. can i just get the ends and crimp them onto the leads? If so, what type are these? looks the same as a vw coild pack i have but no idea how big the post inside is i cant get into measure it. thanks

That looks like a Bosch type of coilpack there off a later Duratec HE, around 2006-2007
I would guess that your 2002 has one from either
-An earlier Duratec HE ; these were about before 2005. -One from a Zetec or Sigma. The Sigma ones from memory are more popular for these conversions. -An early Zetec coil pack ; they had quite different connections to anything above.
TLDR : Within the above, you have around 3-4 different types of coilpack; I'll call them a Visteon Mk1,2 and 3 coilpack ; I think Visteon made them for Ford before they made them in China, and then the Bosch coilpack which the later cars had.
