That's like that German one from the '80s, whose name completely escapes me now. It's lying abandoned in Stuttgart somewhere these days. Steinwinter  Steinwinter mainly produced Fiat 500s and 126s with 250cc two-stroke engine swaps for old people and their particular transportation needs, these cars could be driven with a tractor or moped license IIRC. They also did some fiat-based kind of buggy. Pics on the german wiki page. Including a different pic of that cab under concept truck called Steinwinter 2040. |

But my personal choice would be this one:  Unfortunately the registration expired long ago so exported or recycled Thom Now that with a nice cabin sat in the middle of the load bed would be a nice camper combo. Unhitch the front for trips to the shops ! James |

Not totally impractical but i've wanted one since 1988 when i saw a picture in a motoring mag when i was at school.  Slightly more impractical but i've wanted either one of these for about the same length of time.   |

PS. This is 640miles from here, at the top of Scotland….. I really like it, but the price is firm and that is strong money for it, so I guess I will need to carry on wanting. .    |

I remember a bloke on one of the other forums i was on bought a matador from a bus company. It'd been sat for about 20 years they reckoned. Seized engine, but when they towed it out of the corner of the yard it freed off. They stuck some new batteries on and it fired up from a jerry can of fuel.
Big ass thing to having sitting around doing nothing but simple as anything.

This trailer  So I can bring home more junk I don’t have time to work on. I settled for this trailer instead, 20% of the price  Annnd, on my way to look at a 928 so that part of the quote is accurate as well. |
